Pre Existing Health Conditions

I find this very confusing. Originally I didn't have any previous relevant health conditions - when I tried to make a claim on my insurance - I was told that I couldn't because it had happened over a (relevant) period of time. Now I have been told by another source that it wasn't either for a pre-existing health condition or one that occurred over a period of time, but the result of an accident. However I have still been told by my insurer that I cannot get any help because I originally claimed for the same issue for a different reason. Has anyone else had this problem? It seems future developments does not make any difference. Surely this should count as mis-selling.

No. It looks more like a complaint about poor claims management. The person that sold it to you isnt responsible for the poor claims handling.Surely this should count as mis-selling.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
