Advice re wedding insurance

Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me.
We are getting married later this year:j - my fiance is in HM Forces, and should (fingers crossed!) definately be back in time for our wedding, but given the nature of his job at the moment, there's always a chance he could be deployed again at the last minute:eek:
Does anyone know of a wedding insurance that would cover this eventuality?
Any advice is really appreciated,
Thank you:T

I'm not sure, but most wedding insurers terms and conditions are the same e.g. will pay out if one of the party is ill but not if it's called off. Try looking at a few to see if there are any differences. I can't remember who mine was with now to recommend them to you. If you try calling one and explaining your position they may give you a quote?
Good luck.

E&L definitely provide cover for members of the armed forces being called away. You may wish to ring them up to clarify the T&Cs though because the policy wording is 'Unexpected and unavoidable posting overseas of the bride or bridegroom as a serving member of the armed services' and so they might argue that if they are already deployed it's not unexpected if they can't return. I'm not sure but it's worth checking.
They also happen to be the cheapest wedding insurers I've found so they're the ones I'm taking out our policy with! :-)

I am not sure of any that specifically cover that, but providers we looked at were:
Confetti
Debenhams
Marks & Spencer
E & L
Weddingsurance (who we went with as they were the only ones that would cover us for MIL's bad health)MFIT No. 810
