You can check your daily usage on BT but that isn't real-time and only updates at midnight.
For real time monitoring, install and run a bandwidth monitor like netmeter and the graph display will help diagnose your problems and you can keep track of what you have used.
For a quick view you can use windows built-in network monitor. Control+Alt+Delete to get to Windows Task Manager then look at the networking tab.
