Thanks to rebeccaj for the info re elvive, I wanted the anti-dandruff one but could only see the red or yellow ones. Anyway, I bought 6 (3 shampoos/3 conditioners) total of toiletries = £17.88
minus bogofs of £10.44 - made balance to pay of £7.44 for my shampoos etc.
I used 1 x £2.50 toiletry voucher, 1 new quit voucher £1.25, 1 old quit voucher £1.25, 1 x £2.00 toiletry voucher plus a dog food voucher worth £2.00 meant I was £1.56 in credit on my other shopping and I gained 300 points.
Thanks rebeccaj for the tip - I could have used more vouchers but at this particular store even handing over those was pushing the boundaries of voucher usuage.

Did anyone see the TV programme the other day regarding Tesco and supermarket shopping, well DD pointed out (1) I saved alot more money than the family featured (2) that I always seek out the best bargains in the reduced shelves (3) that my cupboards are better stocked than the tesco toiletry aisle featured in the programme !
As we went shopping today, DD referred to the yellow and red signage around the skips on bogof and tutted that I was being drawn to them due to the colours LOL.
However, DD is a super tesco shopper and she brought me some of the new Quit packs whilst I was at the checkout. If anyone would like any (I have a couple) please PM me - SAE would be most appreciated.
UPDATE: ALL GONE NOW
Thanks Welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

Hiya and welcome to this thread, tbh I used to be a Boots tart but found the tescoing and toiletries a more worthwhile cost effective hobby.
Basically, there are different vouchers around which combined together mean that Tescos are effectively paying you to shop !, yes there are times when some vouchers may be refused but for the most part MSE members are successful.
For example, spend £10 on toiletries, use a £1.25 off beauty products x 2, £1.25 off toiletry products x 2, 1 x £2.00 off an £8.00 spend, 1 x £2.50 off a £10 spend and you will have £9.50 off your purchases even though the toiletries after bogofs are reduced to £5.00 so £4.50 credit to use on whatever you fancy !
There are many different combinations and I am sure others can make other suggestions. There are also some leaflets with 50 point vouchers on them too. Be warned it is addicitive !

welshy is there anywhere to get the vouchers from if your own local stores dont get them in? Is it possible to order the packs or (heaven forbid if needs be!) buy them on ebay? Sorry im new to all of this and dont want to muck up and have been asking the store if they have the quit packs/beauty leaflets and usually i just get a shrug or 'no'Win £2012 in 2012 challenge 0/2012

I live in Yorkshire and have quite a few stores big and small around. Are the big ones the best? I did hear someone mention Garforth earlier-might pop in at the weekend!!Newbie Comper

if you do manage to get some more I'd be very grateful for some as the 3 Tescos near here haven't had them and don't know anything about them
if you can bear me in mind it would be very much appreciated0 -
speaking of ebay, so far I have still not managed to find any of the sheets with 50 points on on my travels so if anyone spots any bargains on ebay please let me know, so far only found some for 9.99!Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0
