Moving home-Which supplier?

I am moving home (again!!!Life seems to be constantly throwing things at me...) in a month or so and really appreciate some advice on which Gas & Electricity supplier to use, There will be 2 of us in a 2 bedroom bungalow, double glazed and we wil both be working all day.British Gas are out of the question as we use them in our current flat (pre payment meter) and I find their customer service shocking!!Are there any companies that give benefits for signing up to them?Or does anybody have a copany they have found better than others?I find some of the information online confusing!!:o

I find ScottishPower and Eon good, NPower I hate. You will find people that say completely the opposite, but thats my experience.

Are you a member of Quidco or Topcashback or CashBackKings?

I tend to start with Uswitch or similar, put all my details on and see what it comes up with. Then I have a look and see what cashback offer I can get, and then work out the best deal for me. It doesn't necessarily have to have cashback or be the cheapest one on the list (sometimes the difference is marginal).
If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused

The cashback idea sounds good, I have been with NPower previously and don't think a lot of them, told them I thought I was paying to little, wouldn't up my monthly DD then hit me with a £300 bill when I moved out. Will go for a look on USwitch now, thank you very much.

    Hello Laura
I use Atlantic energy and would recommend them highly. We've been with them for 6 years. Their prices on standard dual fuel are competitive and their customer service is the best I've ever had - uk based too. They answer all questions/give good advice/and are quick to respond to phone calls. I find their staff highly trained/polite, friendly and very knowledgable. I've saved quite a lot over the years by taking their advice. No, I'm not on commission, just a happy Atlantic customer:rotfl:

    Good luck with the move.

I recently moved house and after a struggle trying to get any meaningful contact out of EON decided to change to M&S Energy ( Scottish and Southern). The pigs ear they made of the move is difficult to comprehend, suffice to say the bloke 3 houses down the road ended up nearly finding he had been moved because his house name was a bit similar to mine. Bunch of cretins.

Atlantic Energy, never heard of them but will go for a mooch about and see what I can find on them, I do realise there is not much in it price wise between suppliers but good customer service always rates highly with me!! :D Thanks baldrick, thats another one knocked off my possible list!! :)
