travel insurance for long stay in South Africa

Hi all , can anyone give any(seen the main article on this site )good tips /companies for travel insurance for a 41 year old guy off to South Africa in April for long stay(6 months +) but without a definite return date. The backpackers insurance all tend to have cut off ages below 40 years old.Also know this is wrong forum but anyone know if i can have my mail re-deliverded to South Africa while im away?.Any advice really appreciated :j
