Nationwide Soft Search for Credit Card - Where Is It?

Hi,

Please could anyone help me find the Nationwide soft search facility for a credit card application?

I've been looking around their site and I can't find it.

Thanks very much,

Izzy

    Hi Izzy,

I did this a couple of weeks ago. You just apply like normal - for the card you want. Fill in all your information on the application form and submit. Nationwide then processes it via a soft search and gives you a quote (limit and APR). If you are then happy with the quote, you click apply. At that point they will then do a full credit search.. which means that they could possibly still reject you. From the advice I have seen on these boards, if the quote says £500 @ 19.9%, it could mean a rejection.

Fill in the credit card application which is on screen then it will tell you this is a quote.
