1st before anyone starts paying out cash sending bank statements you need to know that the company is chasing
what is the debt and when was it from ?
does the company have the deed of assignment to collect thedebt ?
is the debt statute barred ? ie over 6 years old and no acknowledgment contact has been made in 6 yearsI am NOT a mortgage advisor nor a professional in any debt related matters my replies to posts reflect my personal view only and experience in life time situations that may or may not be of any use to you if you need advice speak to a professional0 -
Agreed - it is none of their business. If you don;t respond or they get fed up contacting you, they'll sell it on to the next firm and it goes round again. My own view (personal) is your liability is always to pay your debts, but if the firm you owe the money wants to sell it on to someone else, I refuse to entertain any subsequent appeal from third parties.0
