Any ideas on the cheapest service to scan in photos? Have a few albums but mostly a box full of loose. (Well, lots of folders of 24)

Is there any reason why you can't get your own scanner?
It would probably work out a lot cheaper and as many come with photo editing software you can tweak the images yourself to improve on any fading or colour discoloration on the original photographs.0 -
If you've got the negatives - get a 'negative scanner' - try Amazon.0

I have got a scanner but there is no way I will ever get chance to do it - been meaning to for past 3 years and not managed it yet!
So really just want somewhere I can send them all to, get them scanned and sent back along with everything saved onto a hard drive &/or cloud
If anyone can recommend a service or wants to volunteer (am happy to pay!) let me know0 -
I used https://www.digiscanltd.com/ to get some slides put on a disc after a recommendation from another MSEer. I was very pleased with the service.0
