IE7 problems

What is it with microsoft? I had to reinstall my O/S yesterday , I reinstalled IE7 which took ages , after sorting out the usuall runonce problem I still have a problem making Tabs open to my home page , I have changed it in the internet explorer and it stays ticked , I tick the dont show this page again box but the tabs still open as blanks , any ideas?

click tools, internet options, on 'tabs' click settings then tick the box to set home page for new tabs instead of blank page, then close all explorer pages and it should be ok

Paulsm,what I did was open tab, open the homepage I wanted in a tab. Once it was open I clicked on the little arrow next to the little house on the toolbar, and selected add or change homepage.If it displays the homepage you want select "use this webpage as your only homepage" and click yes.
This resolved things for me.Hope it helps

just tried that , still no luck , I had IE7 before reonstalling and it was fine but this time its pants
