Charmin Toilet roll 4 pack £1 Tesco

The price wasn't marked on the shelf, they are selling 4 packs of Charmin toilet roll for £1 in Tesco. I stocked up as my (female) lodger uses half a roll a go!

Somerfield are also selling something called Lotus, a pack of 9 buy one get one free. This is better value as it is 3 ply with soothing balm & each roll is 25m compared to the Charmin which is 21m per roll.

Tesco are also selling lotus freshness BOGOF, which I think is about £1.88 packet so would be cheaper than charmin. Cept for the past 2 weeks my local has been sold out of both, if I dont get some tomorrow I'll be complaining!!

asda have had charmin 4 pack for £1 for at least a week - but none today!!!

I'm sure i saw packs of 24 for £5 something at lidls, it was under £6 anyway.

get a rain check voucher from CS - so when they have stock you can buy it at this price. - tell them you want it for a number of packs - i.e 4 or 5.

I've never heard of rain check vouchers before!

Although Tesco don't have the 4 packs of Lotus on their website, only 9 packs. I didn't notice any in store either. Is it common to most stores? I went to a Tesco Extra.

roses - they dont advertise them - if a promotion is out of stack out to CS and ask them for a "rain check voucher" so you can get the item at the offer price.

Basically its a slip of paper which states the item and promo i.e BOGOF or the special price. You can also ask for a quantiy - so say I was going to buy 2 or 3 and they will put this on the paper.

When item is in stock and price if higher or promo finished you give it to cashier who will sell the item at the rain check price - I always mention my voucher before cashier starts scanning my goods.

Rain check vouchers (now called Promise vouchers apparently so the CS said) have been going for years IF you know about them!

I got one recently for tea bags that were on offer and out of stock.
