I can so relate to your hubby, my sleep is all over the place and I regularly go through phases but at the min its worse because of how rough I feel - have a shocking sore throat (hardly any voice) and pain through my chest to my shoulders when I cough or breathe too deep. Candy - Whens your anniversary and what theme are you having?
Our 10 year wedding anniversary was 28th December 2011 but 10 years ago we had a blessing in a church (was complicated at the time) so on 2nd June we are having an anniversary party....can't wait although 3 people won't be there that were at the original - the maid of honour 'dumped/blanked' me after my dad died, my dad died a couple of years ago :A and my brother is being an a*se and he's not even replied to the invite and he's still blanking me :mad: (I've even offered to pay for him to get here)
Theres no official theme but the bunting is very twee (if that's even a word) flowery fabric and I've tried to be as Eco friendly as possible.....we've cut up an old garden bench for fire wood and we've been saving jars to put candles in (I've bought gingham ribbon to go round the screw part of the jar)
Cant wait less than 2 weeks to go
Thanks for asking

Morning everyone. Congrats barbed on becoming debt free
Yesterday wasn't too expensive, thankfully. Didn't manage to avoid the trip to McD's, but the grocery shopping was well under budget, so I popped into B&M to get a few bits for some planned camping trips coming up.
Took chicken out of the freezer yesterday, ready for Sunday dinner today. Got plenty of veg that needs using too, so a relatively inexpensive Sunday dinner.
Finally, cleaned and rearranged the food cupboards. Identified a few tins, packet sauces etc that are out of date lurking at the back, so I'll try to get them used up in the next few days.
Today I have/will
Showered using free toiletries obtained from recent hotel stays
Check online banking
Submit gas and electric meter readings
Prepare meal plans
Ironing
Repaint the front step if the rain holds off
A good clean and tidy up when the boys go back!
Have a great day everyoneDebt free since December 2015. It can be done0 -

Hi all, thanks for the kind words! It is weird being debt free after 6 years, just got to be really sensible from now on. Sadly there is no money in the bank account to go mad with but at least anything we earn from now on is ours!
Treated DS to McD yesterday, both DH and I managed to park for free near enough to town and DD really enjoyed the parade. Then later we saw the Olympic torch! It was lovely, especially as the torch bearers father was stood near us, he was so proud.
Today:- NSD
- More washing on, stay away rain!
- Got to put the kitchen timer on for a mad tidy.
- Lots of dog walking (he's on his second at the mo!)
- Force DD to practice her spelling.:eek:
- Meals from stores.
- Make tomorrow's packed lunches.
Have a lovely Sunday.:DMake £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

Hi all
Congrats Barbeduk!
I've not had a very MSE weekend, had some bad health news on Thursday and have been feeling particularly sorry for myself. But have got to shake it off and get on with this debt repayment game, so this evening I will:
* Check banks
* Transfer refunded money from paypal to account
* Make meal plan and shopping list for next week
* Check credit card payment date and don't miss it!!
* Put a load of washing in machine on 30 and hang on line to dry
* Dinner from stores
Hope everyone has had a nice weekend
S xI have enough money for the rest of my life... as long as I never have to pay for anything again!
