IVA - debt free direct

I havent posted on this board before about my IVA but im coming to the end of it (only 2 more payments to go) and wondered once I have finished what I need to do? How long does the completion certificate take to come through? What paperwork will I need to send to DFD to complete everything off? MY IVA for was 6 years and its been a hard slog but am finally glad it is finished and so pleased I have completed it.

TIA

    Hi loopy

Congratulations, only 2 months to go

Have you spoken to DFD as they are the ones who will be handling the completion and must have a pretty striaghtforward procedure you would think.

I have read about what seem to be a number of issues around completion certificates lately, but best to contact DFD.

Mine's a 6-year one too Loopy, and I have 4 payments to go.

I'm with GT not DFD, but have been told they will do a final income & expenditure review after the last payment to make sure there are no additional monies owed, then it will take (around) six months for them to box everything off and send the completion certificate through.

Not sure on timescales for DFD though.
