  • Argh I just hate looking at my debt and knowing that I have to wait til payday to throw something at it!!!!!! :(

  • So I had an excellent NSDSO today as I ended up at a free stone roses gig (housemate paid for petrol) and got a McDonald's on the house. House mate really wanted to try and go to her gig, I said I couldn't afford petrol for my car, so she gave me money for taking her to Warrington. We queued for three hours got wristbands and we danced the night away. It was awesome :) and I realised just what I needed. A bit of time away from worrying about my debt, have to get back to that tommor. But if the weather is as lovely as it was today, it will make it slightly easier. Also have a good friend coming around whose 39weeks pregnant for a budget feast. (I have a hospital ba in standby) well signing off for tonight, good night peeps everywhere and sleep well :)

Hi Theatregal, so good to hear you had such a great night out which cost you nothing, but took you right away from the stresses of debts for a few hours. It pays us, even if we're still in debt, to have fun, even if it costs a little.

If we make our lives all about paying off debt then we get bored and very down, so keep looking forward to having a bit of fun so long as the cost isn't too high; meanwhile keep cutting back where possible so you even things out.

    Be happy, but mindful!

Another NSD am cooking up a budget feast for my best friend, with an array of ingredients and tips off here! I love the sunshine, and I think it generally makes even the greyest days kinda worth it! :D
    Thank you guys :)

Have spent a lovely evening with my very pregnant best friend, she's due in the next couple of days! I feel very happy for her, but also slightly envious. I found a letter i wrote to myself many years ago, lets just say my life isn't quite what i expected! But i wouldn't change it for anything. Mistakes teach you to be a better person (hopefully) My budget feast was a success, and have decided that PSO needs to go on the back burner for a while!!! Hmmmm easier said than done.
Also cut out 60 lots of bunting for a school Olympic project, it's quite therapeutic doing that whilst watching reruns of Dangerfield! All in all quite happy, though looked at the £1.21 sitting in my bank account and felt slightly depressed! I'm doing well at NSD due to not actually having no money!!! Tomorrow I'll take in my left overs from tonight in work. Then tomorrow evening it's bunting sewing. Time to get the sewing machine out (it hasn't been seen in several years by the way) but I'm on a make and mend home furnishing mission, depending how well it goes photos may follow! :)
    Good night all :O

Have you looked at moneysupermarket.com or confused.com, to see if you can get your car insurance cheaper? If you have been with the same insurance company for several years, I can virtually guarantee that you will get a cheaper quote from someone else.

Then when you know who is the cheapest for you, have a look on quidco.com or topcashback.com to see if that particular company is doing cashback, so you get potentially a cheaper policy and also cashback on top!
    good luck

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • I feel for you, we had THAT phone call last November. My class were out on a trip came back into school and was told about an emergency meeting after school, I knew straight away what it was about. Little did I know that it was going to be a subject based inspection, on my subject! Fast forward a few days of stress and it all turned out well in the end. Like you ofsted had never caught up with me before so this was a major learning curve. Just take it easy, they can only see what's there, use it as a learning experience, I'm sure you'll be fine. Definitely a few NSD for you in the next week then as you'll be really busy, no time to spend! :rotfl:
Good luck, fingers crossed for you

So another successfull NSD this is mainly due to my flatware putting petrol in my car for our road trip to warrington! Been in school most of the day too, the good thing with ofsted coming is that we'll have everything sorted next week (hopefully) which will mean half term will be a lot more relaxed just hope the weather follows :)! Babysitting and watching the Eurovision at the moment sp quite relaxed! Despite the paperwork still to get through! Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone :)
