I have some savings in Santander. I have heard that the company is being downgraded in Spain. Is Santander UK a safe place to have money or should I withdraw?
Keep on trucking!

Like all banks keep your savings under the £85000 compensation scheme and you will be ok.
If you have more than this consider splitting funds between more banks.0 -
A comment this morning on BBC Radio 4's Moneybox programme, suggested that Santander is probably one of the UK's safest banks because it has little exposure to Greek debt compared to the other major UK banks.
Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
