I am looking at rental properties due to the breakdown of my marriage. I have found what appears to be the perfect property, LL is a BTL LL and is gutting the house ready for new tenants. It has been decorated throughout,brand new boiler,new windows etc. However, I went to visit the property to hand over the holding…

I must admit I didnt notice if there was earth bonding, probably because there is no bath room at the moment. My LL made it clear that questioning how they were going about their refurb was not appreciated so Im kind of loathe to ask any further questions.

I am very concerned about the age of the wiring and given that LL will have had quotes from all tradesman at the start of the refurb, Im suprised that she wasnt aware of what electrical work needed doing
