Hi all
As title suggests really , went online today to find i'm £500 into my overdraft already:mad:
Totalled up all the debts which comes to a staggering 20k
Now i thought it was bad but not that bad!!
Got 2 cards on 0% and 2 which were charging interest so opened the new 22month int free one and transferred both interest ones onto it.
So i'm just starting out on the long road to becoming debt free! will be on here a lot over the coming years....:)

Hi
Welcome to the board. You may want to post your soa then the lovely people on here can advise where you could make some cutbacks. Use the one on www.makesenseofcards.com
Have a look round the site and check some of the forums such as Pay off debt by Xmas 2012; its very motivational. Dont worry if you won't pay all your debt off by then; you can still join:)MFW 2025 #50: £1139.75/£600007/03/25: Mortgage: £67,000.00

Sounds like you are well on the road to success. If all your debt is on 0% I would set up a repayment plan that allows you to pay off a certain % of your debt per year. But at the same time.. remember life is for living too, so don't go all out and deprive yourselfThanks to everyone for the comp links

Well done for taking the first steps!
Remember to cut up those old credit cards! If you need any specific advice about getting those debts paid off asap there is loads of good support here to be had, especially if you post a detailed SOA. Good luck!
