P60u confusion. benefit for current claim and total for the year is not correct

i understand that a P60u only shows the amount for the current JSA you're claiming if there was a break in claiming. (i claimed 3 times since the last financial year however did not work in between those times) so the amount quoted i assume is correct, but why is it not showing the total for the entire year in the taxable part? i.e. it's only showing my current amount up to 5th of April but i claimed 2 other times in the past year. why is not showing a total of those amounts included as well?

When you previously signed off you should of received P45's showing taxable income for that particular period, you have received a P60 for the current claim which covers the end of the tax year.

Similar to leaving a job, you receive a P45 showing current taxable income for that particular period and then start a new job where you will receive a P60 which will show income only from that employer.

Add up all P45's and P60 and this will give you your yearly taxable income.
