Trying to find power lead for old kettle

I have a lovely old copper electric kettle, but I cannot find the power lead to suit it for sale anywhere.

Does anyone know where it may be possible to buy these leads or even just the plug to fit the socket on the back of the kettle?

Thanks in advance!

Looks like a Swan kettle connector, I've tried searching ebay but not come up with anything. No. 15 here.

You might find one, but only second hand.

The BS for these has been withdrawn.

The element probably doesn't work anyway!

    Thanks for the replies.

The element is certainly giving electrical continuity when I checked it on my multimeter.

Anyone know who has a box of old kettle leads for sale anywhere???

    Help!

I might have one of those leads or plugs. I'll check later on and let you know.

Do you have any old style electrical/hardware shops near you, they might have one.

Also try Freegle and you local car boot.

(I have seen these connectors used internally on old carpet cleaning machines, too.)

    Hi, sorry I was wrong.

I have a box full of old cables etc but nothing to fit your kettle. My memory was confusing a 2 pin European style plug with what you need.

I'm sorry to disappoint you. I hope you find the right item.
