How do I find out my old Credit card accounts

I had Visa and Access cards with the Natwest and when I cameinto money I paid them off and closed the accounts. The accounts were closed in 2003 and I did keep records but over the years they were thrown away.
In 2009 I rang the Natwest asking them if I could have my account details for the credit cards. They said they did not have any account details as the account was paid and closed.
How do I and it it possible to get my account details the my Visa and Access credit card accounts. Any help is much appreciated.

If you don't have account numbers give as much detail about each account including name/address including list of all addresses used whilst the accounts were operational.
