Hi over the past 2 days, when looking on uk.news.yahoo.com/ and wanting to comment i always get the
Sorry, comments didn't load correctly; things may not work. in firefox, so my first thought was flash player, so i uninstalled it and tried a older version only for that to come up the same as well, no change. so i loaded Internet explorer which i hate and it works perfectly with the same version of flashplayer but IE version.
version of Firefox 3.6.28 installed, could it be this is causing the issue and i need to update to a newer version.
the only reason i kept this version installed is simple, for some reason Southern electric when you use their online service to speak to them tells me the newer version of firefox are not supported, which means if i need to contact them to change the amount i'm paying it means a expensive phone call on a 0845 number when i could do it free online.

I don't think it's the FF version, i just tried with a slightly older 3.0 version and it did seem to work, but it was a bit 'sticky', struggling a bit.
    The Flash version was 10.1

I've never used the comments before, so maybe that's just the way it is?

But you could leave your present version of FF where it is, untouched, and maybe install another version, but change the new install location from the default C:\Program Files\Mozilla etc etc

Maybe change the new install to a custom folder.
I run several versions of portable browsers, more or less side by side, seems ok.

ok, firefox portable version 12 working, but firefox 3.6.28 not, still cant figure out why, switching to another profile and seeing if that works.
created a new profile and now its working in 3.6.28 however copying the files in the profile folder stopped it from working.
so something in the profile causing the issue. now i know where to look.
