So not content with screwing up Tesco's coupon policy and outing the 1p items to the world, he now wants to make life even harder for us by getting every scallywag and his granny in to their local supermaket at whoopsie time!

Sorry Martin, but we ain't all got 86m in the bank and need deals like this to get by from week to week...........I'm all for helping people but sometimes you really need to know when something SHOULDN'T be broadcast to the world!

i have not forgiven him for coupons ... :(

Can't remember who it was asking when M&S started their 342 on school clothes....but just noticed an email from Ts.....

free delivery until Sunday on clothing....5 for £10 on school clothes...and you can double up on cc vouchers..

admittedly M&S are better quality, but the above offer sounds good value, especially if the kids have regular growth spurts or forever getting holey knees ;)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

Copied and pasted from the Tesco page re: Mad's trout comment:

'just the usual most people complain about, walk into any near me and most of the staff look like they've been slapped on the face with a wet fish. The stores are so depressing, no atmosphere at all, what would be wrong with a bit of background music like ASDA has - their staff always seem to have a smile on their faces and time to stop if you need help. A lot of items not priced and if you ask to get a price most just look at you as if you've offered to sell them your first born child. Most of the offers on the dot com site are not advertised in the store that does the deliveries so am never sure if the site is wrong or the store is just behind putting the labels out. It totally messes up my shop as I like to sort out what I need before I go in and know roughly what I'll pay. If you get overcharged because they've missed taking labels off they act as if YOU put the label back on. I got overcharged once, got my double the difference after 30 mins at customer service and now get followed everytime I go into that store so it really puts me off going in there. I will never set foot into it or another local because of the attitude of the management and most of the staff. I really feel for the decent staff both stores do have as they, wrongly, get thought of as the same as the rest of them' - JK

Sounds like a typical visit to Tesco. :rotfl:

I must admit this was me :p my local just p'ed me off that morning over a direct order that they had returned after only having it 4 days!!!! Someone had misread the number of days and put it back on the van that morning.
They got a very full PM about my local stores and just a sample of the problems I've had with one staff member and security guard in one and the so called duty manager in another.

Hey you lot this is my first post i'm a recently converted lurker to a newbie so be nice :p

My mum (Ms Money Penny... sorry mam!) usually tells me about the bargains and even though I'm going travelling for 6 months on 20 June all these Pizza deals are perfect for my leaving party!

I certainly had my moneys worth of Wolfblass Chardonnay from Mr T when the DTD was on!

Just wondering if the price checker has been fixed for the JTD on the Chicago Town, B+J and Garlic Bread deal as I'd rather get that but if not Ms Money Penny has kindly donated me 3 pizza Price Flop vouchers so I'm gonna get the Italian ranges too!

    Over and out!

Hey guys, I've got a bit of a dilemma,

I've just taken delivery of what I thought was my super ebay bargain from Tuesday. Won a soft carrycot for my pram from Argos ebay outlet for £17.99. Right colour to match pram, brand new, only £1.99 delivery and RRP about £70. Was :j

Anyway, delivery driver has just been and have not been sent what I ordered. The details are correct on the paperwork attached and our address details are on the box. But instead of the soft carrycot, I've been sent a proper hard carrycot, a different colour complete with raincover and blanket. I had been looking at getting one of these but couldn't justify the extra cash as no good deals about and about £150.

Now I don't know what to do. I feel like I should let the Argos outlet know that I've received the wrong item and see what they say. DH thinks as baby not due for a few weeks we should just leave it packaged and wait to see if we hear anything, if not keep schtum.

Just can't help thinking there will be some poor person elsewhere getting a raw deal :o

If you are going to feel bad every time you use it then I think you should let argos know now - they may well say keep it as it will cost too much to sort out collect etc adn then you can keep it with a clear conscience and enjoy your baby as you should

I personally would do what your DH has said, if it's been sent in error they'll contact you but it may have been sent as a suitable alternative because the warehouse has overestimated the numbers they've had.
Either way good luck and congrats on the forthcoming newborn xxx

    Bye Elite

Most of the time it's been fun and very interesting to learn a few tricks of the trade. But dare anyone unpopular express an opinion against the grain my god you pay for it.

One minute it's not okay to abuse coupons, the next it's fine raid the shop's. I can't be @rsed with the snidey comments both here and via PM, so well done you know who you are ;) I will no longer be posting on this thread. Bye

    Not thanking this post!

Get yer sorry !!! back here right this minute!!! :(
