Hopefully MT is not gonna keep the Asda RTC thread up to date now that Martin and Hotuk are onto it and is gonna post in the drivel. I will post new stuff onto here that we find, if someone on here would post any new asda finds you get onto the drivel please it would be appreciated:beer:

Yes, am being selfish, but not as selfish as the newsletter people or hotuk people who will rob the shelves and not post any finds:cool:

Hey guys, I've got a bit of a dilemma,

I've just taken delivery of what I thought was my super ebay bargain from Tuesday. Won a soft carrycot for my pram from Argos ebay outlet for £17.99. Right colour to match pram, brand new, only £1.99 delivery and RRP about £70. Was :j

Anyway, delivery driver has just been and have not been sent what I ordered. The details are correct on the paperwork attached and our address details are on the box. But instead of the soft carrycot, I've been sent a proper hard carrycot, a different colour complete with raincover and blanket. I had been looking at getting one of these but couldn't justify the extra cash as no good deals about and about £150.

Now I don't know what to do. I feel like I should let the Argos outlet know that I've received the wrong item and see what they say. DH thinks as baby not due for a few weeks we should just leave it packaged and wait to see if we hear anything, if not keep schtum.

Just can't help thinking there will be some poor person elsewhere getting a raw deal :o
♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥
  • Hey you lot this is my first post i'm a recently converted lurker to a newbie so be nice :p

My mum (Ms Money Penny... sorry mam!) usually tells me about the bargains and even though I'm going travelling for 6 months on 20 June all these Pizza deals are perfect for my leaving party!

I certainly had my moneys worth of Wolfblass Chardonnay from Mr T when the DTD was on!

Just wondering if the price checker has been fixed for the JTD on the Chicago Town, B+J and Garlic Bread deal as I'd rather get that but if not Ms Money Penny has kindly donated me 3 pizza Price Flop vouchers so I'm gonna get the Italian ranges too!

    Over and out!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: but your good fortune that now you do!

Oh yes. In the likely eventuality that one day I am asked "what should I do with this semen?"
I am confident that I will be able to tell them exactly what they should do with it :rotfl::rotfl:

And....not just cattle semen, I now also know why dog owners allow their Pit Bulls to fight.....Chavtastic info :rotfl:
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Sounds good, especially if you have the £1 MOCs.

I did similar with billingtons golden caster sugar. Its £1.68 in As but just £1.44 AND B2G1F in S's. It compared as planned and so i got 3 bags in A for £2.59 or 86p each *whoop whoop*

Just remember APG is different to Ts pricecheck. Yku have to buy 8 different products and at least 1 must be comparable

Oh thanks for the sugar tip auu ... yes just been to get 6 (more) packs of dog food (£6.48 vs £5@T) so will get £1.98 APG per pack. Makes each pack £4.50.

I got 7 of the reduced items to make up the shop.

    Got a £42 shop down to £25 (2 x APGs and a £5/£40) ... and will get nearly £12 APG back

Each flavour of your dog food counts as one item, so if there is 3 or 4 flavours then that's 3/4 diff items already.

Ohh no, just re read your post. Some of the reduced items are matching against other shops full prices so you may loose your money and get no apg back

If your doing an APG shop DO NOT buy any of the reduced items with your APG shop as it will match against full prices in other supermarkets
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Copied and pasted from the Tesco page re: Mad's trout comment:

'just the usual most people complain about, walk into any near me and most of the staff look like they've been slapped on the face with a wet fish. The stores are so depressing, no atmosphere at all, what would be wrong with a bit of background music like ASDA has - their staff always seem to have a smile on their faces and time to stop if you need help. A lot of items not priced and if you ask to get a price most just look at you as if you've offered to sell them your first born child. Most of the offers on the dot com site are not advertised in the store that does the deliveries so am never sure if the site is wrong or the store is just behind putting the labels out. It totally messes up my shop as I like to sort out what I need before I go in and know roughly what I'll pay. If you get overcharged because they've missed taking labels off they act as if YOU put the label back on. I got overcharged once, got my double the difference after 30 mins at customer service and now get followed everytime I go into that store so it really puts me off going in there. I will never set foot into it or another local because of the attitude of the management and most of the staff. I really feel for the decent staff both stores do have as they, wrongly, get thought of as the same as the rest of them' - JK

Sounds like a typical visit to Tesco. :rotfl:

Bloody Fascists over at that site. I posted a complaint about them not taking their Finest 20% offer signs down and duping customers and they'd deleted it within a minute

Seems there is one logical thing to do :rotfl:

Evening all. I visited a T's outside of my normal territory today (The F*rge) and my goodness, it was the cleanest, quietest, most bargainless one I'd ever seen! The scanner still not working since my last visit 6 months ago shortly after they opened.

    HELLLLLOOOOOOOO

    A local MSE, how excitong!!!!!!

The scanner in the food aisle at p4rkhe4d is kaput. Has been since the first day i visited

The scanner in the car maintenance aisle works just fine. I only found it 2 days ago when looking for blue maggots!! Have fun scanning on your next visit ;-)
