Copied and pasted from the Tesco page re: Mad's trout comment:
'just the usual most people complain about, walk into any near me and most of the staff look like they've been slapped on the face with a wet fish. The stores are so depressing, no atmosphere at all, what would be wrong with a bit of background music like ASDA has - their staff always seem to have a smile on their faces and time to stop if you need help. A lot of items not priced and if you ask to get a price most just look at you as if you've offered to sell them your first born child. Most of the offers on the dot com site are not advertised in the store that does the deliveries so am never sure if the site is wrong or the store is just behind putting the labels out. It totally messes up my shop as I like to sort out what I need before I go in and know roughly what I'll pay. If you get overcharged because they've missed taking labels off they act as if YOU put the label back on. I got overcharged once, got my double the difference after 30 mins at customer service and now get followed everytime I go into that store so it really puts me off going in there. I will never set foot into it or another local because of the attitude of the management and most of the staff. I really feel for the decent staff both stores do have as they, wrongly, get thought of as the same as the rest of them' - JK
Sounds like a typical visit to Tesco. :rotfl:
Well it needed saying, even my local Sainsbobs staff are friendlier than the tesco staff at my local.
Could someone fill me in on the blue maggots? What is this? sounds foul!
EDIT: Found! lol.0 -

How very dare you!!
The reason it took me almost 2 years to pass my test is because I drive more like this.

SA stacking shelves with chicken fillets said with a big smile, 'These ones are only £3 and they're the nice ones' (half price offer)....didn't have the heart to tell her I'd only consider them if they were at least half of that price
I got the 3/£5 pizzas, SA needed to authorise 2nd and 3rd coupon on SS but was fine with it. Popped over to A's - they've been ransacked, empty spaces everywhere. Whoever recently mentioned the theory of less affluent areas not being interested in moneysaving- doesn't apply in Glasgow! (this was the East End). Got a few bits though.
And to those of you still with WHSmith gift cards- there's currently a big clearance on books. Lots of half price or better and you might find a '5 off when you spend £10 on a book' till spit lying about too
Aww man that was the A's I was hoping to visit over the weekend seeing as I'm going to be in GlasgowWill still have a wee jaunt round, though I'll not get my hopes up after reading that and it being in Martins email!
