NOT AVAILABLE IN SCOTLAND
THAT'S DESCRIMINATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In Scotland, if there was a promotion on that said you could get a free drink if:
you had a coupon, or
you bought a meal, or
you spent £10, or
you had ginger hair, etc, etc
then the law would regard THAT promotion as discrimation against someone that didn't have a coupon, didn't buy a meal, didn't spend £5, didn't have ginger hair, etc
You are not allowed to offer an incentive (free/reduced drink) in return for someone spending more than they otherwise might without the incentiveApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

The chicken tikka on 3 for £2 ( 1 floppy ) with salt and pepper crust bloomer, whoops 1.30 to 20p, is perfect with slightly salted Lurpak.
Just checked the price. On the previous flop @ £1 off Lurpack, but was on offer at 2 for £2 or 2 for £1.80, either way got a load of the stuff.
Todays price = listed at £2.90 and out of stockBack to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
also the £1.50 off takeaway pizzas, i ve tried it on the 3 for £5 pizzas but just one pizza for £2 so cost me 50p as didn't have much shopping, have the people who's put the 3 through for a £5 and used 3 £1.50 coupons did you have a load of shopping?? thxs
No I just got the pizzas but I was brave and bought 4 - 3 for £5 and one value £1.00 one so all free! I "accidentally" tried to scan a fifth coupon but it flagged up I hadn't bought the product so it must have credited each coupon to each pizza...
As one was a value one I am wondering what would happen if you used the coupon against value ones only? It scanned OK with the others so it would be a nice touch to get them free and 50p off shopping, my SA's never looked at what pizza I got anyway!
And the value ham and pineapple was really nice...loads of topping for the money!Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be

You are all wonderful. I dropped on 4 reduced Tesco takeaway pizzas each 45p. Each one worked out free with an extra £1.05 off my shopping. I used the price drop leaflets through a normal till!:j:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Well I caught up
Went to Asda as I had to return a toaster. Managed to get 800g jar of Hellmans mayo for 74p (have posted on the asda thread)
So with the pizza's does it work out to be 50p or free? I'm confused also (and please forgive me as it may come out wrong but don't know how else to put it) but why is it ok to use the Tesco coupon against the wrong thing but not any others?
Congrats on passing your test flo flo
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -

Ive been getting the Chunky Bacon (Gammon) BBQ Pork and the Chicken, all are 160g so plenty for sarnies..:p some of the others are only 50g so make sure you pick wisely, but at 50p a pack ya cant go wrong.. coupon runs out on the 25th while the 2 for £3 finishes on the 26th, so sorted for a few more weeks..
Needing another cheese glitch now im down to my last 2 packs, hopefully the new price flops will have something to glitch aboutWho's the more foolish: the fool, or the fool who follows him?OBI-WAN KENOBI:beer: :A :beer:0
