i am a bit embarressed
we went to a tesco and got 4 free bowls and 4 boxes of rice krispies 510grm(£1.34) and the free bowl didnt come off so off we toddle and get £15.92 back :j:j. we go to another tesco and did the same. with the same result. BUT on the way out i say a sign stating that the rice kripsies 510 gr and coc pops were not included in this offer.
to clear my conscience (sp) i gave 2 boxes of rice crispies away.
and made a whole load of rice crispe squares. still feel a bit bad though.life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -

Afternoon all, hope everyone is enjoying their weekend despite the damp weather. Hugs to all that need them.
Well, we've had a busy weekend so far. Managed to get spare room painted in preparation for DS to move into. Really want to get him settled in there in a single bed before baby arrives so he doesn't think that the baby has stolen his cot! Exchanged some clubcard vouchers and ordered him a new wardrobe and chest of drawers as well as new mattresses for the cotbed and moses basket for bump. Really pleased as managed to reduce total by £170 and on stuff we would have actually had to buy anyway.
This morning I managed to test out my theory about the Pampers New Baby nappies in Mr S. Was very pleased. For those pf you who missed my last post this is how it goes;
Pampers new baby size 1 currently £2.49 reduced from £3.75 for 27 nappies
When I bought a pack earlier in the week I got a till spit for £2 off when you buy 2 packs
Today I bought 2 more packs and again got a till spit for £2 off when you buy 2 packs
So it works out after your initial spend that 2 packs are £2.98 which works out at 5.5p per nappy.
I got a 'few' packs but honestly can't remember how long DS stayed in size 1s for so don't want to go OTT.
HTH someone x♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -

We always whoopsie, and do get good deals, but that's the best ever.
