So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.

kprice88, thinking about it, maybe it has taken the 20% off for Tesco Finest. This would mean that they are £2.40p, then use the voucher and they are £1.40p. But I can't work out how they are £1.25p.

    Ohh yeah :wall:
    so if you buy 4
    £3.00
    -20% discount (60p)
    - £1.00 Price flop
    Total to pay
    £1.40

    JTD 60p

Therefore 4 yogurts for 80p if they compare:j:j:j

    or buy 5 @75p (5for£3)
    3.75
    -20% discount (75p)
    -75p 5 for £3
    -£1 price flop

    Total to pay
    £1.25:j:j:j:j:j:j

    Thanks to mrswack ...

Sainsburys have "Little Dish" Toddler meal & croc like shoes half price at £2.50.

The box (in the chiller cabinet) includes a toddler meal (chicken and butternut squash pie) and a pair of red croc type shoes

    Sizes 4/5. 6/7. 8/9.

    http://www.littledish.co.uk/bigtoddle.html

    ‎The 25% clothing discount didn't come off :( ... but £5 for 2 pairs not bad.

Also, I nearly wombled a £3.62 Brand Match Voucher from the SS till but the guy double backed and took it ... then looked at it ... then offered it to me!!! Well it would have been rude to refuse it :rotfl:

So £1.34 for 2 pair of toddler crocs and 2 pies!!

Got my dates in a muddle - did £40.00 shop and used £5.00 off £40.00 spend coupon successfully. sa pointed out, while I was packing, it wasn't valid until tomorrow (2nd June) - scanned ok though .

Bought 2 packs Romane hearts £1.50

    IDShot_90x90.jpg

    b1gof.pngBuy 1 Get 1 FREE Cheapest product... valid from 21/5/2012 until 3/6/2012

(each pack has 2 lettuce in)
    £1.50 BOGOF
till must have seen the £3.00 before price
as I bought £2.00 tomatoes as well and no other salad stuff

    lettuce £1.50 + £1.50 = £3.00
    large net tomatoes £2.00
    = £5.00
    - bogof £1.50 = £3.50 - £1.00 off 4pd spend on salad =
2.50 for 4 lettuces and big net of tomatoes.

:think:Just thinking the romane lettuces could be combined with another salad item for 1.00 or 1.00 of tomatoes
    which would be good as
4 lettuces and 1.00 tomatoes (or something else) for £1.50

    thumb_smiley-character00255.gif bye

I've been to the 99p store in Paignton this afternoon. I stock up on vegetable oil as it's only 99p a litre in there.
I noticed some Lyons ground coffee too 150g....thought that was a good buy. Also 99p for 2 bottles of harpic with arabic writing!
I know some people turn their noses up at the pound shops, but you can sometimes find a real bargain in them! I went in for the big bottles of sweet chilli sauce....about 4 times as much for half the price it is anywhere else. Unfortunately they'd not got any at the moment, but it's really good stuff if any of you have a 99p store near you.

On to Lidls to stock up on dog food and I saw the funniest thing.
It's very warm and humid here today. Everyone is in summer clothes. All the holidaymakers in shorts and t shirts.
There was a lady pushing a shopping trolley in summer skirt, floppy hat, flip flops and, wait for it...............

    Sheepskin mittens :rotfl::rotfl:

    I bet she's a local!!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
