Bought a Tinkerbell colouring set in the managers final reductions sale yesterday. It had no barcode on it, no label or anything so cashier couldn't scan it. She turns to ask her mate on the next desk and asks if she knows how to put an item through that doesn't have a barcode. Her mate had no idea, she turns to me in a huff and says, 'They don't teach us anything on here. They just throw us behind a till and expect us to know it all.'

That took long enough, but went to Customer Services desk and she had someone go check the price as she wasn't prepared to take my word for it. Whilst he was gone, she was called away by another Staff member to check some pricing somewhere, the assistant that checked the price returned, only to find the CS woman gone, he then disappears. CS lady returns, I told her the guy had checked the price and it was correct, but again she wasn't willing to take my word for it, and instead insisted I wait until he returned.

Ten minutes later he's still not returned, she sends someone else to check price. They come back unable to find the item, so I have to take him and show him the item. He then comes back to confirm the price.

CS presses a few buttons and whatever, then calls the guy back to bring the SEL as she couldn't put it through without scanning something. It had been over twenty minutes by now I was fuming :mad::mad:

Guy returns with SEL, only for it to have no barcode on :o

She then tells him to go find an item with the exact price (£3) so she can scan this and sell me the item. Ten minutes later he returns. She sells me the item, writes 'No return' on the receipt, and I finally get my £3 colouring set. 30 minutes late :mad::mad:

Make sure you calm down before you play with it mate or you'll only get the crayons all outside the lines!!! :rotfl:

i've only tried the rose and the light one. didn't like the rose at all but the light one is yummy, not at all sweet

although i do have quite a sweet tooth, to the point where can eat anything other people find sickly and not notice it myself

I pour mine over a huge beaker of ice and top up with sparkling water.

Possibly we need so grape juice based receipes - my daughter says everything benefits from either gin or vodka :D

R0chd4le had the AA and AAA batteries in big displays with both the correct and incorrect pricing on them. I was in a hurry and there was an enormous queue at CS so left it. Might be worth a look if you are local.

Prestwich had a few socks.....they don't have them now.
