    Evening all

Keeping myself busy at the moment. Nerves have well and truly kicked in. Picked up my wedding dress yesterday and picked up the suits today. Also bought some honeymoon clothes and nearly all packed but the house is still looking like a bomb has hit it!!

Hope everyone has had a lovely day.

Happy birthday Nannylala and belated birthday wishes to west is best.

Caught up again, I can't believe how fast this thread goes sometimes. DS1 has his last AS exam tomorrow, I am so relieved, he has been doing his Further Maths A level independently (in school but not in a class). For various reasons he started this week knowing he had an exam on Friday but had not even started being taught the particular module. I knew it was going to be a nightmare of a week, that he would have at least a day when he didn't get it at all. He has been the only Y12 left in school as the others have finished their exams, he has really struggled, but today it seems to have clicked, he has done a couple of past papers and managed to get an A in 4 days of learning the topic. I know the final result depends on what questions he gets tomorrow but after how he felt yesterday I am so proud of his efforts this week, like I have said to him, it shows what we are capable of with hard work.

    One proud mum!!!

Good luck for your son tomorrow. DD2 had a last AS exam today and DD1 has loads of A level exams after half term. As soon as one lot of exams finish I feel that the next lot are nearly upon us. I don't fancy it myself

One of my receipts had Duracells on it, 2 versions but both came back as NA. Tesco sell these for £12 and Asda for £10 :(
    Duracell Plus AA Batteries (24)

Other than that I did get my wine swap receipt to work and I also got the 50p JTD I was expecting for MCcains stick chips. Also an unexpected £1.20 odd so still better than nothing.

Trouted in Sainsburys so I've sent an email to customer services - its a trout I've had a run in with before but I've managed to avoid her for about 6 months but she sneeked up on me today. I was at SS tills so I ditched my shopping and went to the other set of SS tills. She must have said something to a floor manager because as I finished I noticed I was being watched  SS tills have cameras plus a supervisor so an extra pair of eyes was a bit over the top.

I had 4 things in my basket, total worth about a fiver. I dont know what criminal act I was commiting to warant so much attention.

This morning though I had to ring Sainsburys CS as I had a crisps problem, manufacturing problem, not taste. Got it all sorted very nicely and £5 of nectar points put on my card.

2 hugely different experiences of Sainsburys in one day

Had a weird experience today in T's this woman kept staring at me, then she seemed to be following me, after a while she stops in front of me and says, "Excuse me where did you get that dress from you look fantastic" I was so taken aback I forgot where I'd got it from :D

This is for 2 nights hotel friday and saturday, breakfast, grand prix tickets for warm up, qualifying and race. Grao balcony seats (not sure if these are good?)
This seems a very good deal to me but I know nothing about this can I have some advice please? x

Dunno if this is a new one or not, but there's been a hundredth of a quid :whistle:find over on HUKD in the Sandisk thread http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/sandisk-m2-memory-card-2gb-tesco-was-9-97-now-50p-instore-1230931
None left in my local ,but the price tag is still there £0.50p.
I did find a Techneca ipod/ophone extended battery, reduced to £4.99 from I think £17.99,went to self checkout and it scanned at  .I had to get the lady to remove the security tag after i scanned it,there was lots of other items in my basket and she did not notice the  price.
Thanks, coleraine @ HUKD, especially for not posting it as a deal :D

Thanks for your patience, I know it's taken a little longer that we originally anticipated. :)Yesterday at 3:56pm · LikeUnlike
