Morning all good luck Nannylala hope all goes ok for you this morning. Im just one day away from being able towalk round normally after my eye op. Iv had to posture face down for the last 6 days with a 10 min break every hour, just hope procedure works this time cos iv really struggled to stay positive. Iv still got a gas bubble in my eye so cant drive till it disperses. On a brighter note iv got lots of visitors today and DH is doing really well with garden apart from a mole hill that has appeared, luckily its come up in a border so keeping fingers xx that it stays off the lawn. Hope to join in a bit more with chat/conversation as it will cheer me up. Take care all!!

cattysmum, sounds like you are doing great! It can't be easy - and sight is something we (I) tend to take for granted. ... really hoping it has worked and that you heal quickly. Enjoy your visitors :):)

I once worked ...strange but true fact number 1 at a pie factory in the S.Wales area and was in charge :) of pouring the jelly from a large stainless steel bucket into the pork pie machine , after 3 weeks or less I turned veggie ...hell of a place .
the memory is hard to shake .

When I was a student I had a summer job at a pie factory in S.Wales (same one as you most probably) and was responsible, along with a friend, for injecting the jelly into pork pies....anyone that walked passed us quite often got 'squirted' with hot jelly...:rotfl::rotfl:
I not eat their pies or pasties.

A good Morning to All , slightly cool & overcast here which will make it much more comfy for the bearer of the Torch of Eternal Flame to run with , I've just enough time for another cuppa before I spark up my clipper lighter and start my own Tesco 4p Torch , it's one of those perfumed garden ones but hey I' so MSE ...

    Was that at PP??

It was Issyc , have you done the obligatory 8 hour shift that becomes every person born within the shadow of the Castle birth right ?

It was a lovely place (to leave) .

I'm 100% sure it's the same place GJ , imagine our paths might have crossed by the moonlit shadow of the pork pie machine ...it was a shambles when I was in charge of the bucket of gunk .
Gone thankfully but not forgotten unfortunatly .
