I should be home this evening, and am hoping I will feel okay for tomorrow as it is my birthday and I have a dining table full of pressies for me to open:)
Hope you all have a nice day .....0 -
I saw something wonderful in Ts just now. Terrys chocolate orange with fathers day packaging and unlike the xmas packaging that is still floating about in several stores this has a different barcode to the standard product
Theres a good chamce these will go to 1p in a couple months. I never got any of the xmas TCOs because i hadnt found this thread or the 1p thread back then. I'm looking forward to making up for that as i loooooove TCO
And my store has recently been flooded with Jubilee edition big tubs of celebrations which (unsurprisingly at this time of year) don't seem to be shifting0 -

Good luck Nannylala  hope it all goes to plan!0 -
Evening everyone. Busy day today, loads of washing and cleaning done as car failed mot and couldn't borrow to go out shopping as boys and DH all using theirs. Got the car back at 5.30ish, so decided to do a whoopsie run to two locals. (My first T run since returning on Sunday!)
I managed to womble 37 receipts, 5x £5 off £40, 1x5p off a litre, and unclaimed points totalling 68. My little paws are going to be busy price checking that lot!
I also found on a top shelf above the clearance shelves, what I hope is a new 1p item:j:j:j:D
Tesco Finest Milk, White and Plain Chocolate Collection 270g, b/code ends 72950, and they are best before July 2012.
Please someone tell me that this hasn't been posted already, cos I'm so delighted to have found something that I haven't seen posted before.
I was nearly trouted by a mangler. He came up while I was going through the ss, and asked to see the 1p chocs I had bought so he could take them off the shelf cos 1p items were not to be sold to the public, but taken off sale and destroyed. (Didn't tell him there were only two boxes and I'd had them both.:D) At this point I hadn't paid, :eek:so I asked him if he was going to take them off me, and he said no, cos he couldn't be bothered to argue about it.
Anyway I hope this helps someone else find them.
Not much in the whoopsie line, just some bunches of flowers for 50p, and some finest meatballs and some sarnies for 10p each, got there too late.
I haven't caught up or thanked for lots of pages, so I'll have to try tomorrow.
Tired bear now, so going to bed.
Night night, hugs to you all.
Hi, sorry, found the chocs last week (and very nice they are too) but the only other person I have seen post saying they have been lucky and found some was Bensonsmum. Thanks very much for the picture (I am clueless when it comes to cameras and posting pics) - hopefully this will help others root out some.
Little tip for the chocs - Look up along the very top shelf - I just noticed Naebbirac found the chocks up top, and that is where I found mine, but mine were in the chockie aisle itself (in an extra store)0 -
