Sorry to hear about your mate Frequent but glad you raised a glass or two to him

I'm sure he did. A couple of friends of mine have died in the last few years.....all younger than me. One 12 years younger brain tumour. Went from super fit and healthy to old man looking and then dead in 3 months! Another took his own life at only 30. Drugs and money troubles.....had some VERY nasty people after him. Third took his own life too due to depression mainly but a relationship break up broke him in the end. 4th one went to bed aged 40............just didnt wake up.

We should all be thankful we wake up tomorrow.....whatever the weather and vow to enjoy the day.

**FK raises a glass to fallen friends..........including FQ's buddy** Cheers....

I see LTF came out tonight.............congratulations I guess. I'm thinking that must have been something that was a source of anxiety for some time. I hope you find the comfort and love you need in life. :)

I suppose while we are on the subject of coming out, I suppose its time I did...............................

There's 47 asda receipts and 12 Tesco ones there.

Perhaps I should run a little compy as to how much the asda ones will yield?!?!?!

Completely OT but my son came home earlier with his hand pouring with blood from where he'd cut it on glass while "messing about with his mate" on a derelict site where an old bungalow is awaiting demolition.
He knows he shouldn't have been there and he's in trouble for it - grounded and no pocket money .....but I do feel the owner should have put some type of barrier across the entrance or at least signs saying keep out.
One of the cuts was right across his wrist and could have been really nasty.
It's wide open for any of the kids to get in and because they have been told there are hundreds of dog skulls in there (the previous owner was an eccentric dog owner/breeder) I think it's a bit of a magnet.
Are there any H&S regulations about derelict places being fenced off ?

Purdita - Something similar happened next door to my sis. House was being renovated and was a shell but the whole site had become a target for crim damage and wanton vandalism (windows bricked through and door boardings ripped away, resulting in kids getting into the property). Besides endless reporting to the Police, in the end she got the council involved (I think it was buildings - her city council had an office which dealt with dangerous buildings) and the council came and did an inspection then arranged for a company to come and fence it off and the owner had to pay for the fencing (this was enforced by the council). I would suggest contacting your local council to see what they can do.

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.
