If anyone took any notice of the M & S beer deal I posted the other day, think the description online was wrong instead of 2 cases of 20 arriving I have had 2 cases of 6. I thought it was a very good deal for £29.96 a case as they were 750ml bottles not your usual 500ml.
It was the Greenwich Red Ale, and M & S have been good and refunded me for the bottles I have not received, although they did only offer me half refund first and I said but I have only received just over a quarter of what I was expecting.
Looks like Mr Tinyshoes will have to savour this one, I think I must have got a very expensive beer very cheap.
How much did you get refunded? I'm on the phone now..................
Got a full refund - they blamed the warehouse for sending out the wrong amount and they can't send me the rest of the order because it's out of stock!!0 -

I've just checked mine and I haven't got one
I emailed them on Thursday and they said they would reply in 48 hrs. I take it I won't be getting any beer for my Jubilee do (yes I really am having one!)
What did you say in your email?....just wondering if it's worth me sending another one.

Fell like having a rant so ignore if you are in a good mood
Jazz apples ruined my one and only good receipt from yesterday
I dont think I am having a good day at all. Just come back from town which has not put me in a good mood. Youngest son wanted me to get him the forms for sorting out his ISA and they have dropped the rate from 4.15 to 3.5 so I have to see what else I can find for him
OH is getting on my nerves as well - you know when they try and be extra nice and kind and pleasant because they know you are in a foul mood, they dont know why but they suspect its something they have done ...
I was looking forward to him coming home, telling him about the days events - the free magazine plus kohl pencils, how annoying the nationwide is, the holiday trips I've booked, all pre paid for so I've got a lot done but not actually spent any money today.
Well on the way home from work he went via the model shop and treated himself to a new model train. Most months he treats himself to something, last month it was a leather jacket for £175. In between the monthly treats he spends about £15 a month on magazines about trains or ships. Also he has a phone contract at £42 a month for a phone he hardly uses as he has a works phone and £35 for a mountain bike he has not ridden on for the last 10 months - only used it 2 or 3 times in all to go up and down the road. So most months he spends at least a couple of hundred just on stuff for himself.
Its a case of he is earning the money so his attitude is that he can treat himself to whatever he fancies and it really annoys me. I feel very guilty for being so annoyed it.
This new traiin model will be the same as the others, sit in a box untouched now for years on end like the others, collecting dust. If I outlive him I will have half a century of collections of model trains, railways stuff, magazines and books to off load and a dealer will give about 5% of the original value if that.
£90 he spent today. OK maybe its not such a massive ammount but we are on holiday in June and I'd rather have spent £90 whilst we are away. And for that matter with travelodge and travel lodge sales and using whatever discount vouchers are around we have had some great weekends away and spent less than £90 - weekends away both of us have enjoyed and will always remember.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
