gonna get my dressing changed soon, i am so not looking forward to that. i really dont want to "see" my missing toe, but on the other hand i want these dressings off, they smell now and i need to get some wet wipes to my foot. just to get the iodine off and the marker pen arrow, that was kindly put on there.

maybe i could get the nurse to put a tissue over my "toe" and i could wash the rest of my foot. that might work.

Got to say I agree, It will end up going down the FB route and also lots of lurkers as everyone says do eventually contribute;)

Whoops morning everyone, still catching up and am going to have to miss a few pages, you lot have done some serious chatting over the weekend:eek:Just gave Mr Lala a surprise and called him out of his office and into the garden just now for a lovely breakfast. Usually gets toast in the week shoved on his desk, but this morning poached eggs,mushrooms,baked beans and toast all waiting on the table for him, think he thinks I'm after something now;)
I was in a T's near me yesterday and found marmalade but still no jam:(Was waiting to pay and realised the man at the ss had a basket full of THE jam:eek::eek::eek:Tapped him on the shoulder and said excuse me is their any of the jam left? and he said their was, told me which top shelf and then said "I think we're on the same page":rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Me and Nannylala trundled off to the jam and he came over and after a quick discussion he was HUKD (He agreed they are a bit Harsh over there:rotfl:)but just lurked on there, so I invited him to join us:T:TSo a big hello if you're reading;)

Now I really can't wait to come and stay for an extended holiday.:beer::beer::rotfl:

Yes there are lurkers who take advantage of the glitches but then can any of you honestly say that you don't lurk on other threads and take advantage of things that are posted on there? One of the threads I know a fair amount of you take advantage of but never contribute to is the coupon thread. How would you feel if that was hidden and only a small group of people could access it or know about it?
I don't always log in, sometimes because I am just having a quick read or am on a computer which isn't mine and I'm sure a lot of others don't always log in as well.
Remember the next newbie/lurker could be the one who finds the next big dtd/glitch/freebie and making them feel unwanted is the best way to stop them posting about their glitch etc.

I used to have my own account but I gave my vouchers to mum as we pool ours for christmas and it was a bit difficult for mum to use my vouchers if I wasn't there with my CC. I now just use one of mums key fobs for simplicity.

Incidentally, Westie and I had a count up the other day and due to CC vouchers, Pinecone Research coupons & Valued Opinions coupons we have accumulated about £180 so far this year towards our Christmas food and drink.:beer::beer:

We save our pinecones for Xmas dinner, O/H gets narky tho as I get £4 he gets £3
