Also may be worth browsing the CD aisle. There was a 2 for £12 promo that ended yesterday, and a lot of the CDs in the offer are priced at £9.97, so not free but still a bargain if there is an ood sel or if the cd cases are stickered. Didn't write them all down, but included Olly Murs, Rihanna, Rizzle Kicks, Adele, Jason Mraz, Ed Sheeran, Emile Sande.
And this would be a nice one to find if it gets missed in store - offer ended yesterday
Maschio Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry 75Cl Better Than Half Price Was £11.99 now £5.990 -
Morning again, just off to T's to use each club card for a Welch's - mainly to see if it generates any extra till spits with minimum spend. I get fed up of doing my main shop, then getting a spit for something I have just bought.
RootedNomad - you were right about books at the car boot. Didnt sell a one. A few asked how much. Some guy said you'll be lucky to sell any books, I will give you £1 for the lot. Said no thanks. He said he would come back at the end then and take them off my hands for £1. About half an hour before clearing up I packed them back into the car. He came back and said 'have you got my books'. No, I said, I sold them all:p I decided I would rather give them to the charity shop. They were in excellent condition. 15 hardbacks and 15 paperbacks.
I told my daughter 'a little white lie' and that I had managed to sell most and gave her £15 and some food so she was happy.
All in all I did very well (apart fro a raging headache and sunburnt arms) mainly from toiletries I still had stored under the bed from the good old 250 points on £10 spend days and loads 'acquired' (nearly said bought then) with coupons - lots and lots of Dove, Mitchum and Palmolive. Sold quite a few of the Quantumatic kits (got them free with the coupons a bit back) Had the usual bit of stuff nicked near the beginning when trying to set up and the flock arrive as you unpack. Had 3 Dove body silk pots, sold none, and had none left:mad:0 -

Just seen your post in time - will look for the Spumante as this would make a nice little gift for someone's birthday this week - thanks, fingers crossed. My local is quite on the ball with price changes though.0 -

Sorry to hear about the books. I would have done the exact same thing about giving to a charity shop but giving DD some cash
Glad the rest of the boot sale made up for it.0 -

This is one of the ones that has a price like a yo-yo. Earlier in the week I got it for £4.49 - no SEL, then it was sold out with the @11.99 SEL, and then Saturday I got it for £4.79 with a WHITE SEL.
hmmm.... Great one to keep an eye on!0 -

Ordered an Xbox from Game the other day and just got this email
You may have noticed that the price for Xbox 360 250GB Halo: Reach Limited Edition Console on GAME.co.uk has gone up to £249.99, but you don't need to worry! Because of the GAME.co.uk Preorder Price Promise your preorder will not change and you will still pay the original, lower price.
