Good morning all. Thought I'd get in early today as I've been up since 3am........ body clock up the creek from the holiday, and I still have fat feet from the flight. :eek: Car in for mot at 830 , so will have a catch up kip later. Didn't do T's yesterday, popped to Sains for whoopsie bread, and got cakes, fruit tarts, meat and some fresh apricots whoopsied too. Will spend time coupon printing today, and making jtd shopping lists, and visit T's a bit later using DS2's car. Missed zippy's photo, sorry zippy, sent you a pm. Hope you all have a good day.

Just been catching up on the DT debate. Bit concerned really - we seem to be potentially cutting across what MSE is all about and forgetting about the hand that feeds us - the MSE platform. We have been given a lot of grace to continue here despite not fitting the remit - think we have a lot to thank redfox for on that front. On other boards threads are swifty locked, deleted or moved if they don't fit the board "spec" or go off topic (:D as far as the Elite is concerned).

This thread and its content does not fit the profile of DT, and I really do think it would get moved (:eek:) or locked/deleted (:() very quickly after being set up on that board. It isn't for us to decide where things go on this forum, it will be for the relevant BGs to decide.

I do think we fall into the chatty gossipy area rather than the more serious stuff arena - DT is about more in depth discussion on serious issues.

When a similar thing was suggested a while ago (FB), the resultant fall out was horrendous and took ages and ages to settle down and the thread lost a lot of what made it so very special. Would really hate to see that happen again, and would like to avoid throwing the baby out with the bathwater when trying to make change.

Morning. As a newbie I thought this thread would be great to discuss glitches, JTD's, DTD's etc and when I happened upon it last week I was delighted to find a friendly area to do this. However I just don't know where you guys get the time to read it all - I've had a busy weekend and come back to catch up and I just can't find hours to read 50 or 60 pages of chatter, which (no offence to anyone intended) seems largely irrelevant to the stated aims of the thread.

I wish you all the very best, but although I spend a fair bit of time online I just can't keep track of this thread! I work full time and when I don't work I have lots to do. When I am online I have a few sites I like to keep abreast of which are all manageable. I do find MSE too big to keep up with but hoped this thread would be the place to keep posted and post about Tesco stuff, but it's as fast paced and busy as MSE is which is a big negative for me! If it was kept just for chat about the intended subject I am sure it would be a very useful and friendly resource.

Again - I wish you all the very best, but sadly I can't spare the time to keep track of it. I'll revert to being an occasional lurker!

Another sunny day in South Wales

Up early as the house is going up for sale and i have to hide my clutter before the EA take tpics, well DD's clutter as she keeps moving in and out. Viewers will have a shock when they come to view as the bedrooms will look clear. The living room resembles Legoland. I'm downsizing (hopefully) the house is too big for one person and the garden while great when the girls were younger is now a nightmare to maintain and i'm not getting any younger.
