Just remembered, was hoping to use my £1 off mushrooms (have a points coupon for this too), but couldnt see any at £1.65 BOGOF? I wonder if the offer has finished or my store is just carp. Does anyone know which mushrooms these were please? Thanks IA

    :) We got 4 x boxed Chestnut mushrooms (£1 each or 2 for £1.50) less £1 MOc = 50p a box :D:D

Thanks RootedNomad - they belong to Daughter (mainly biography hardbacks and popular novelists paperbacks, which she had given to her). I dont normally bother with books as, like yourself, I give to the local charity shops. I told her if they dont sell, that is where they are going and she is quite happy with that. She is a bit skint at the moment though, so 'every little helps' as they say. I make sure she gets plenty of my Tesco goodies foodwise, but dont give her a lot of cash else she would go a buy a new pair of shooooeeessss (like I would have done at her age) LOL

In which case I would put a reasonable price on and hold firm - my very general rule of thumb is no more than 10% of price to buy new. If it is a book someone is interested in and it is in reasonable condition then hopefully they will pay that. Good luck to your DD - hope she raises enough for lots of new shoes :)

    Morning all!!:D

Had it been a half decent song (despite the amount of money involed recording sessions in London, Nashville & L.A.)& he had put some real effort into things I might have. We have some many younger artists who could have benefitted from the chance.

I suppose its like football I was thinking I should get my England flag out but tbh my heart isn't in it with John Terry playing I will choose a favourite team based on their playing style still shocked that not all Germans can take a good penalty

I wish you all a good weekend off to pack & then hurtle down the motorway will take netbook but not sure if i'll find wifi. It would be too much to hope that Axl Rose will announce the Eurovision result in the middle of his show it sounds like its going to be a late night

Randomly recieved 2 lots of coupons from Tesco today
one for Mrs K Price one for Mr K Price

thing is the CCis in my partners name and im Miss K Price

ive never taken out another CC only thing i can think of is when i register 'new' emails for quidco cashback for my online shopping but they both have CC numbers on them that dont match ours

Hope i can still use them as each letter has 3 x 50 extra points when you spend £5

they are all date stamped one week after each other
