Nothing controversial about supporting your home entry!!

Why would I want to support Ireland...they certainly won't be supporting us!

Morning, another gorgeous one. Been up an hour, starting to sort out my stuff for the car boot tomorrow.

For anyone who has done a car boot recently, what did you ask for books (some hardback and some paperbacks) please? Thanks.

Morning everyone thank you for my welcomes last night - am I the only one who gets a bit nervous joining in groups - even at 30 I still feel like the new kid at school lol!

Anyway, didn't properly introduce myself in my post - am in the very far corners of sunny east Kent, any others around my way?Tescos seem really on the ball in my local 2 - Haven't had any luck with glitches / 1p bits yet although I do look - on fact that's a lie last year I got the 1p tomatoes with chilli, and I did find a dtd opportunity on wine half price but my (soon to be x!) husband said it was embarrassing to ask at CS for the money back!!!! I did sneak back but they had changed the sel by then and shelf was pretty much cleared so I missed a good one!'

Oh well, on with the day, wishing everyone a beautiful sunny Saturday!!!

Morning everyone. Fabulous sunshine again :)

    Warm welcome to you tinkerleigh.

izzeyb, don't know how others have found it but I find it difficult to shift books at car boots. If you don't want to bring them home again with you, price very cheap, but if there are any particularly popular books in good condition maybe put those separately? I now give mine to a charity shop (both Oxfam and British Heart Foundation have specific shops near me just selling books) because they seem to be able to get much better prices than I ever could at a car boot and it seemed a better redistribution of their value. I used to get upset when a booter would haggle down a 10p price on a really lovely book :o

Morning all, a glorious morning here in sunny N*rth D*v*n, i have been awake since 5am off and on with a headache from hell - self inflicted from not drinking enough, so have downed 2 1/2 pints of water so far but feel like im going to explode, god only knows how my OH and others go out on the pop and down 7 or 8 pints a night is beyond me:rotfl::rotfl:

I hope 3 dogs and Mr 3 dogs are well, i look forward to reading their posts every night, just a bit concerned as i didn't see a post from you - so hope your trip is going well and that Alan and yourself are enjoying your break. I know i don't always comment - but i do always read :o:o

Fudge Cake - you amaze me, I would love to have the ability to make so many people feel so special - as you do. I would love to send you a ((((big hug)))) which will hopefully go someway to making you feel special too.

HC - rather you than me with that lawn, it looks amazing but talk about hard work - bad enough mowing my own lawn - but something the size of yours i would want a ride-on at the least and a tractor at best.

Well im going to try and get some shut eye for an hour or so as i can feel headache starting to fade. Hope you all have a great day, enjoy the weather but don't forget the sun protection and to drink plenty of fluids xxx

    Good Morning all!

(((HUGS))) straight back to you Fudge_Cake - I hope you have a good day today!

After getting to bed after 1am, for some reason I was up at 5am. Even more surprisingly the kids were up at not long past 6am - usually they struggle to get up around 7am! Have been to T's this morning to get the french sticks etc, now just about to finish doing the food, take the rags out of #4's hair and get the posh clothes on. Might get to church on time yet! I feel quite proud as she will be wearing the same dress I had for my Holy Communion and is the third out of my 4 girls to do so. Only one more girl to go! (Though I wasnt so pleased when the dry cleaner kept stating how careful they were with the dress seeing as it was so old  the meany! I didnt think he looked much younger than me! Oh well, I'll be the one growing old disgracefully!!)

Hope you all have a good day! Anyone in the Littlehampton area, the big group by the park next to the Rock Cafe after lunch will be us! Wave if you are passing!
