Hi everybody just went to Mr T looking for coffee as usual the shelves were empty and I turned to look in the cage that was on the coffee isle and there to my surprise was 3 150g nescafe gold blend refill packs.

I snapped all three up. so thanks for whoever posted it first of all.

No good whoopsies they were too busy to reduce the items. I had to admit defeat and walk away with tears in my eyes.
I am sure a good nights sleep will help me get over it.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

Well, we had a lovely day out in Newcastle. We took the car and parked in the city centre. Alternative was to use the Metro but Alan didn't think he would have managed that. The multi-storey I chose brings you out right in the city centre .......... downside is that it cost us £9.90 to park  for 2 1/2 hours, though if we'd got back to car within 2 hours it would only have been £6+ Newcastle has always been very expensive for parking

Anyway, we walked down Northumberland Street and called into Hotel Chocolat ;) They would only let us use two of the vouchers from earlier online competition but I had chosen the 2 best I had, for the Signature collection, so able to choose to the value of these, 2 x £28 :D The Signature collection was half price so I got 3 of them, plus a box of Rum Truffles and 6 small packs of 6 chocs (all half price) We were well pleased with what we got :j :j

We then wandered around the indoor market, and had a coffee there, before going into Eldon Square itself. But not really interested in the 'shopping mall' type of shops so we came out at the Monument and wandered back up Northumberland Street. We called at Costa for an iced drink and cake before going back to the car to drive home

Alan enjoyed it and managed to get around with his crutches quite well. The heat was getting to him though so we tried to walk in the shade as it was very hot. although he went to bed after a coffee when we got back, he wasn't 'exhausted' just tired and in fact didn't go to sleep. He was already up when I got back from seeing Mam and seemed fine as he ate his dinner. He is back in bed now

He said he was so glad we'd got up to the town and had a look around, as it made him feel better. Tomorrow, we are going up to Newcastle Airport late morning to meet my Sister and B-i-L as they return from their USA holiday. She doesn't know we are going to meet them so it will be a nice surprise for them .... I hope  :D

    evening all :)

I saw the BBQ meat with some stickers on and some without  so I thought I'll go for it, as was waiting for malarone tablets (Africa trip) from the pharmacy.
I went to the checkout and the BOGOF came off:eek: luckily a friend of mine just texted me to say they had already bought BBQ stuff and didn't need anymore;) So asked the nice SA to cancel them :o

I went back to collect the tablets and it came to £110 :eek::eek::eek: The most I've ever paid in tesco.. but health comes first :) I asked if I could collect clubcard points on the purchase. And go told, unfortunately you can't, would love it but sorry. I thought, fair enough, paid and she give me my receipt with a 5p petrol voucher (no petrol station here:mad::mad:) and the receipt had 110 clubcard points uncollected :S :S so I obviously walked to CS and asked them to be put on. Newbie did it in seconds :T:beer::j

I seem to be having trouble todday. I have this critter but struggling to find a youtube tutoorial on how to kill it (I'd rather not pop it in boiling water alive although I can imagine this would be a very quick death anyway) and prepare it etc as I fancy it for my tea!!

FK won't put it in the freezer hes afraid the crab will eat all his sausages :p

He's dangling it a bit close to his sausage as it is

Thanks for the topless picture FK.....It's totally changed my perception of what you looked like. When you posted the picture of the robin eating from your hand, I thought you looked as though you might be a bit of a porker :D.....but I must say I'm very pleasantly surprised.

If you don't want him Miss Laid, I might just throw my hat into the ring :rotfl::rotfl:

lol my main problem is i never delete stuff "just in case" :wall:my nhs account had over 1000 emails and i am now getting more emails telling me it is full and that i must delete than normal emails :eek::eek:
i am totally the same celebrate my nhs one is full to the brim. i learned recently tho u need to delete the deleted emails too coz that takes up space too. xxxxxxxx

If you guys always use the same PC or always have access to a network drive, you could set Outlook to auto-archive to a PST (personal folders) file thus preventing those annoying automated emails that tell you to delete your emails!

A certain bank I worked in limited us to a poxy amount of emails which, given the numbers of systems & servers we looked after, our inboxes would be full of alerts & advisories after a week off work. If you need a hand figuring out how to do it give me a shout but being NHS, I'm sure you have an IT dept that [STRIKE]should[/STRIKE] could talk you through it.

    Good evening everyone :)

    Welcome back to Westvleteren :)

Happy birthdays to Purdita and Frequent

Pleased you're home MMW. That seagull will miss you! Take care and follow Dr's orders!

3Dogs, good to hear that you've both had a very good day today, Newcastle town centre, and H. Chocolat goodies.

Silvercar, glad you've found this thread, very cathartic as well as being supportive. Hope you get your strength back soon too after your op.

Streetlights, you did well with your whoopsying :)

Not ventured to T's today, too tired. Early night called for, so good night everyone

Hmmm wonder how long he'll be.... :D

I do need to go for a couple of things tomorrow, so I could go to that store and have a week look I suppose ;) *sigh* it's a hard life :rotfl::rotfl:
They have vanished  not a single box to be seen, had a gander in the night. I really need a new hobby. I will be on first term names with the security guards soon if I carry on like this. I might have to go cold turkey.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!
