you are correct. two or 3 stores i visited are fine but one other is a nightmare. i cannot even bare the thought of talking to the cs in this store. i keep thinking that if someone my like to visit this store and see if they can do better. Don't think any of the elite are in my area.

    it's a good store for wombling though.:T

    Hello there:)

I used to be elite but real life got in a way:). Now i go tesco just weekends.

Are u talking SS as a nightmare one? LV is great for dtd, isnt it?

I now have this image of him being chased by a crab with a pot belly!

Maybe the crab won and is just trying to figure out the best way to cook him.

Hope FK did not cook the crab for 45 minutes though - might be a bit tough, maybe he's still trying to eat a rubberised crab :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Forgot to mention earlier to any sneck lurkers ;) Ret*il park clip strip in laptop aisle with OOD SEL for sony earphones. They scan at £10 but on clipstrip at £4 oddish. Have had them on DTD before, so no need for anymore.
Well done lurkers ;) You did the clipstrip but your an amateur :rotfl:;) Same shop, same headphones, same SEL, same DTD where I hear you ask :D Headphone stand down beside the toilet cleaner aisle.

Then you take a wee dander over to In$hes aye, 4 clipstrips of drumstick lollies in the toy aisle  SEL now changed to 37p. Then wander over to the back of the store where the TV stand section is and what do you know a clipstrip of duracell batteries on BOGOF  another DTD for you.

Now this one is a wee bit further, you take a gander over to $lackbuie, aye you forgot about that one :D masses of OOD SEL for duracell batteries BOGOF, where on the tills.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

Lucky I found this thread at the same time as recovering from my op. I spent two hours last night catching up on things.

3Dogs, I can sympathise with what you are going through, my father had exactly the same diagnosis as Mr 3Dogs 9 months ago. Been on chemo tablets since. I may PM you later, but understand if you don't have the energy for continually talking (or typing) about it. We are now stranded 150 miles apart until I recover enough to drive to Wales.

Can I ask, did anyone receive anything else other than the first email confirmation from the big lunch for the carling. I have just had an email from carling saying that I'm not eligible as I haven't requested a starter pack, but I have :(

BTW If anyone is wondering this is for my parents house, not mine.
