    Dreamerbea you have mail.
  • Wow you did well, eyebrow lady tried every [STRIKE]con[/STRIKE] trick in the book last time I had one. Tried to tell me that you can't have DTD on an out of date SEL:eek:

Thanks for the heads up on the coffee I managed to get 3 jars. I did hide a few for Lindos and Simon31Leeds, if any of you want to know where they are send me a PM.

There were only a couple of BBQ packs left on the shelf but non had BOGOF.

Did manage to get several welches, went through SS and just as I was about to start using my coupons the Trout In Training came on shift and I was there a further 45 mins whilst she scrutinised everything twice.:p:p

glad you managed to get some coffee :) they will probably restock the shelves so worth looking out for

    ........................

I got to admit to getting a wee bit upset this morning, when Alan had to go back to bed and it was obvious he could go out anywhere today, and then talking to friends by text saying how weak he was. Then, the carers at Mam's home chose today to ask me about my hubby was as my sister had told them all that had happened, so was telling them with broken voice. They said they hadn't asked before in case he was really bad and I got upset

Today, it just sunk in that Alan is not going to get any stronger than what he is now :( The oncologist said months rather than years when he said he couldn't have any treatment and it was 3 months yesterday since his operation when they found the cancer. 3 MONTHS   It is just that these 3 months have gone so quickly ...... :( I am just so glad that he is not in any pain yet :(

I have been watching him closely and I have noticed that the whites of his eyes are pale blue-ish, just a tinge, but they are normally white ..... I think :o His eyes are brown by the way, so not a reflection. Is this normal? Am I looking too closely at things?

Thinking of you, 3Dogs, and wishing you strength through this difficult time. I think you're coping admirably. Remember, nothing gets sent our way that we aren't strong enough to deal with.

Have you had an email or any other acknowledgement apart from the initial, 'we will check with the big lunch and get in touch' message (or words to that affect)? Just wondered if they let you know you are successful before you get the text 2 hours before

You would be hunting a while, we are nothing alike:p:p

Did you notice the patio table and chairs when you walked in for cheap extra seating they are really not too bad at all, the full set is less than £30. Even better if you have £15 cc to double up.

Im obviously really no good at finding hidden things..I didnt even notice the patio sets, and I'm guessing they were unhidden and at the top of the escalator?:o:o

Oh PS Ive not noticed the PM from you, (I can't find anything tonight can I?)

misalignedhalo i would seriously have taken it all to Cs and say i made a mistake, i don't need it anymore plans have changed or something to that effect, especially if it's something you normally wouldn't splash out on:(

3dogs so sorry to hear Alan is going downhill, he has been doing so well, i just wonder if a) he has overdone it or b)is there another reason for his sudden decline?

does he have any other new symptoms other than the tiredness? could he be anaemic? could he have a urine infection? could this be side effects of any new medication? sorry just thinking aloud, of course if all of these are excluded or deemed unliklely by your own doc it may sadly just be disease progression :(but worth considering though

have you talked over the recent change with your gp hun-perhaps it may be worth a couple of bloods and urine test?

hugs to both of you, let me know if there is anything at all i can do xx
