everywhere is different, but when we change peoples admission times, its usually because they've been switched from a morning to afternoon theatre list. If you were "ours" we would tell you that you can have a light breakfast before 7am, but nothing else after that

I have a spare ticket if you'd like to accompany me?
Well that's a very kind offer, Mr Knickers
My OH was given one ticket for thurs, but at the moment is refusing to go with me again as last year I was a little late getting readyand he missed some of the red arrows display and grumped for the rest of the day , haven't decided whether I will go or not this year yet.
Fudge there were tickets given away with a newspaper, someone posted a link a few weeks ago. If you do go with FK would you like a lift over? If not would still love to meet up if you have time! Me and hubby are going for the first time ever - have always wanted to get to one of the motoring events at Goodwood but never been able to justify paying the prices or juggle which kids to take or leave lol!! We will take the youngest with us but leaving the rest at school etc.
Ahh, shame I missed the free tickets in the paper, my own fault for not keeping up with you all
Thanks for the offer of a lift Kymie, but I am notoriousley late for everything so I wouldn't want to delay you. I don't know whether I will be going this year or not, but if I decide to go, will definately let you know and we can meet up somewhereFrench_Knickers wrote: »I only wanna get in her....... Tescos! Aaaarrrr.....Shiver me timbers there be a big Orangey ball in the Sky....what be that?
Yesterday there be a question about broadband availability and although the Cap'n asked some follow up questions the original poster didn't get back.
So here is the Cap'ns guide to getting good broadband at home.
Although this isn't a price guide it will give you information upon which to make a good price decision.
Go to the Sam Knows exchange checker page.
http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange_search
enter your postcode and it'll tell you the berth of your nearest exchange and a whole load of detail regarding what services and service providers are actually in that exchange.
Generally if you're going to pick a LLU provider it's better to pick one with their own equipment in your exchange, else in reality you're on BT equipment so have two layers to go through if you have any problems.
A lot of you will have read about BT infinity (also known as Fibre to the Cabinet FTTC), this newer technology means that BT have laid fibre optic cables to the green BT street boxes. This can be a MUCH better service as instead of your connection going all the way to the exchange over copper (with all the problems that can bring) instead your copper only goes to the local cabinet and then its fibre optic from there on. I've seen speed increases of 4mb connections jump to 32mb connection, fast enough to stream movies etc.
What I would suggest is watch out for BT vans working on the green BT street cabinets and ask the BT engineers if the cabinet is enabled for FTTC. They're a pretty helpful bunch and will let you know, make sure you also ask them if that's your cabinet by telling them where you live.
If your local exchange is FTTC enabled I would suggest going this route (subject to how far you are from your street cabinet) as you may well see a huge improvement in your quality of service.
Of course your mileage may vary but hopefully some people may find this useful.
