Yea can get the famous GiffGaff SIM for no contract and buy top ups from Tesco.

for £10 per month....250 mins, unlmtd txt and unlmtd t'internet.

for £15 per month.....400 mins, unlmtd txt and unlmtd t'internet.

for £20 per month.....800 mins, unlmtd txt and unlmtd t'internet.

As there's no contract if you're away at all just don't buy a top up that month.

All calls to 0800/0500 numbers are really free, all calls to 0845 (non premium ones) treated within months minutes, all calls to other giffgaff users free.

Giffgaff use O2 and are owned by the same parent company.

Best offering on the ocean at the moment the Cap'n thinks.

I've had a disaster with them since last night - was on hold all morning and evenually told the site has crashed - Don't even bother trying it for a good while as I did and imput my codes and now they are locked and I can't use them until tomorrow - so I would give it a while in case it messes something up for you?
