Found some sprouting potatoes yesterday in the shed :o
So I've chucked them in a trench & covered them with earth.
Fingers crossed they may grow :T

Cats have watered them already :rotfl:

we spent weeks sprouting potatoes in trays, then ploughed, weeded, added manure, rotavated, ridged up with tractor and planted,
then you tell me all we needed to do was dig a trench and bung in old spuds
why did you not tell me earlier.:rotfl::rotfl:

I would like to say good morning to everyone, absolutely lovely here - really sorry as i haven't had much of a chance to post over the last few days as im now back at home and have a job on my hand getting anywhere near to MY laptop, let alone posting. Im sorry i didn't get a chance to say thank you to Frenchknickers for this fantastic new thread - really appreciated. I hope everyone else is well and hugs to anyone that needs them. I did a brilliant shop on Saturday and managed to get a £130ish shop down to £40ish :j:j:j:j i will post a copy of my receipt later, the shop would have been approx £20 less but had OH and DD with me and they were putting stuff into my trolley:eek::eek:

    Morning Cornishlady

I quite often frequent the ones around the B*rnst*pl* area, have found four pairs of socks in there and also in the R*s* L*n* - normal store have found five pairs, but they are pretty hot on 1p items in both of these. Sadly no scanners in the normal store but three in the extra - soft drink aisle, stationary aisle and also one upstairs in the clothing dept. But do keep looking as neither of these stores had any for a week or so and then they just appeared.

I did find the car cleaning bucket in the Extra for £1.50ish this was on friday and still four left on the shelf. No signs of any jam, marmalade, niknaks. To be honest over the last year or so i have done really well out of the Extra, now i know there is someone else as well as Barksavingmad and i that use this store - if i find anything i will let you know xxxx

Well hope you all have a great day, i have to go and get myself psyched up to get into a local factory staff shop - i end up driving up and down the main road waiting for the barrier gate to be up before i can get in - its great once through the barrier as all the staff in the shop know me, just have to get past security guard on the gate. Will let you all know later how i get on xx

Haven't tried it but from tomorrow Ben & Jerry's will be 2 for £6 in T's.
Asda £2.50 each. If JTD works (not sure as never bought Ben & Jerry's) then £2 off price flop. Equals £4 for two plus £1 JTD = £3 after JTD. Plus six clubcard points (4 plus 2 green clubcard points:D). Equals Ben & Jerry's for under £1.50 pot:D Haven't got the nerve to try it:eek:

I've been having a good clean this morning as my MIL will be staying here at the weekend while we are away. Hyacinth Bucket has nothing on her, so have done the oven and cleared out the dog food cupboard....and thank god I did as we have a lodger in there of the small whiskery variety....(no not you Miss Laid!).
When we moved in here the place was over run with mice and it looks as though one or two have decided to revisit!

Didn't see the culprit/s but there were lots of shredded carrier bags which he's obviously used to make a nest and a nice hole in the side of the sack of dog food so he's been able to help himself like an "Eat all you can" buffet
Right Stuart Little......do I use a trap or poison? :p

i have a cat, but he is a coward, even ran away when the hedgehog turned around. :rotfl::rotfl:
