hi i am new to the forum and need some help as customer services is useless! We are currently on the essentials package with a calls boost costing £25.50+ £1.90 paper bill charge.our contract ends 4th june,i called to see about cancelling then re-aplying to get the latest offer-£3.25 mnt+£114 pre paid line and £50 tesco voucher.
1.was told a re-connection fee of £150 would have to be payed.
2.was told a cancellation fee and line rental was to be payed even tho we pay a month in advance.
3.was then told i could go online and would qualify for the offer.this will not work as i am currently using talktalk. When inputting my number and postcode i get directed to my acc and not allowed the offer.
when i click no number/line i get a message "there seems to be no line at this adress, book a technition to install aline" This is really STRANGE as there is definately a line cos we use it! i know its a bit long but would appreciate any help on this thanks.

When you phone them up next, you should be able to move onto the essentials package without any charges or bill interruptions - with regards to rejoining just for the sake of a £50 tesco card which isn't guaranteed is not worth the risk.
I recently renewed my grandmothers contract and they gave her half price essentials for 12 months and I paid the value line rental on top, the exact same package you are trying to get - I don't see why there should be any problems0
