    I'm about to buy another topper for a guest bed and I would be looking at 5 cms thickness/50-60kg density as the absolute lowest I would choose.

    I'm not recommending this company in particular as I have never used them, but they have various toppers which would be much better than this Silentnight one if it's memory foam you're after. Again imo.

    I got a new mattress last year and found it a bit firmer than I like. I bought a Silentnight latex topper as I was worried the memory foam would be too hot. I find it really does make a difference.
