Of course in April you can also lump £3k into another ISA, or your existing one if you choose to continue topping that one up.
HTH
Can this be done automatically from IceSave though? I want something automatic or otherwise could forget or not get the time to do a manual transfer every month.0 -
Yes - you can set up transactions to happen on the savings account to your current account once, weekly, monthly and annually on the IceSave account.MFW #185

Thanks for all your replies! Lots of food for thought...
So - after lots of research here's the plan:
£3000 in existing 2006/7 ISA@ 5.40%
£3000 into NS&I ISA @ 5.80%
£3000 into A&L 3 Yr Bond @ 9.00%
£250 per month into A&L High Interest account @ 10% until expiry in June
£250 per month into Lloyds TSB Monthly Saver @ 8.00%
Any other savings over the month/year into HSBC Online Saver @ 5.75%
I already have current accounts with HSBC and A&L and can set the joint account up with Lloyds TSB
Its sooo complicated having money!
Does this seem sensible to seasoned savers?0 -
