hi all i am thinking of getting a voip number from sipgate
i am i right in think you can have a geographical number for free,
i am wanting to use it for incoming calls and use voice mail, i assume for this is free
when you register do you have to give them your bank details
how do people find the service ?
many thanks

We use VOIP for almost all our calls (we do lots of international calling) and a few years ago we tried SIPGate but call quality etc wasnt that great. We subsequently changed to VOIPFone and have been with them ever since. They are slightly more expensive but 99.9% of the time we couldnt tell the difference in call quality between VOIP and fixed line other than its less than the 10th the price0

I use sipgate for re-directing my premium rate number to.
I use a program called Phonerlite which is very good you can change the sample rate which makes the call quality better and its all free.
