Well I will be gutted but its been a mighty long time now since we put our offer in, this is the sixth month - I know that my boyfriend is deadly serious and will not hesitate to pull out (he will have to do it as I will waver at the last minute) and i'm really not sure what more this woman wants, whatever it is she can get it off somebody else. We did actually have the deadline for today but it never got passed to her by her solicitor (allegedly, everyone is treating her like something precious as she is so volatile).
Either that or my boyfriend has said he will be offering £3K less. I'm useless at stuff like this, he'll have to do it.

  • We have bought a few properties and sold a couple and never had any sort of chain. (rhe houses we bought apart from our Spanish one were already empty and so were the ones we sold).

I would hate to be in a chain, so stressful.

I hope it all works out for you. What a selfish woman your vendor appears to be.

What happened when you threatened to pull out? Did the c@w suddenly become nicer? And did you get the moving date you wanted?

    Congrats!

Unfortunately i didn't get my date :( but I am being positive, I got the house I wanted. I think the EA basically told her to behave or lose the sale. We won the amendment to the time to pick up keys though, they wanted 4pm, we wanted 12. A very small victory after so many losses but am still really thrilled, this is the place I wanted ever since I set foot in it!

    am giddy with delight!
