We're getting married at Nurstead Court. They don't advertise as much as some, they have a marquee and the views are amazing. Also caterers are very good. Good luck in your search!

I know this is an old thread but I have jut got engaged so browsing for reasonable priced venues in Kent area!

Jut noticed the comments about the venue in sandwich, I disagree with some of the comments, being local in the dover area I have been to four weddings there over ther last four years and have had a great time at each wedding! All weddings are different I suppose.

I'm getting married at Ratsbury Barn next August, and then having my reception at Chilham Village hall.

Ratsbury barn is £750 for a four hour hire, with a charge of £100 for each additional hour, as well as a separate charge for the registrar. The only problem is that they can't be hired after 9pm, which is why we're having the reception elsewhere.

Chilham is £1100, and the hire starts at 12pm on the Friday before our wedding and ends the day after. That is for the hire of the entire hall, which is a small kitchen with adjoining room, the main hall, a green room and a small hall which is licensed for ceremonies. There is an additional charge for the registrar etc.
